FAQ around your application

Your application and placement with us are free of charge.

We specialize in household staff for private households. You can find positions with us as a nanny, housekeeper, household manager, butler, domestic couple, private chef, estate manager, private chauffeur, bodyguard, or personal assistant.

We place long-term permanent positions. We do not place temporary positions.

Initially, we review your application for the position you applied for. In a second step, we check if we have other positions open with our families that your profile may match.

Absolutely! We are always interested in exciting applications. Email us your application at info@swissprivatestaff.ch. We will then contact you to discuss the next steps.

We need your current resume with a photo and all work certificates. A cover letter is optional. Please email your application documents to info@swissprivatestaff.ch.

Ideally, we would like to meet you in person at our offices in Zurich or Baar. However, if this is not possible due to distance, working hours, health reasons, or urgency, we can conduct an initial interview via video call.

Swiss Private Staff places great importance on a transparent and straightforward exchange with job seekers. We create a comfortable environment for the interview and have an open and honest discussion with applicants. We focus on both your needs and the needs of the families.

No. You are free to decline our job offer. In such cases, we are interested in understanding what did not appeal to you so that we can provide you with more suitable job offers in the future.

All communication is handled through Swiss Private Staff. As soon as a family expresses interest in meeting you, we will notify you promptly by phone or email. We never disclose contact information without your consent.

Employment contracts are exclusively and directly negotiated between the families and the job seekers. Obtaining the necessary work permit, correct registration with insurance for the hired candidate, and compliance with Swiss labor laws (ArG) are the sole responsibility of the family. Swiss Private Staff provides support to families if necessary.

Once you have found a new opportunity on your own, please inform us as soon as possible so that we can stop the job search for you and withdraw any pending applications.

By the way: We reward referrals with CHF 200.- for a full-time position if it leads to a successful job placement with a contract concluded with one of our clients due to your efforts!
